Who we are
Our Story
Praxor grew out of founder Martin Davies' experience leading quality and programme performance across some of the UK's most complex major infrastructure programmes.
Martin's expertise in quality gives him a particular perspective on programme performance. He works with stakeholders at every level—from senior leaders and clients through to delivery teams, contractors and suppliers—understanding how programmes really work and where performance can break down.
Quality is part of that whole picture. Everyone on a programme works within the Quality Management System, whether they think of themselves as working in quality or not. And a good system only works when the culture supports it.
When it doesn't, good people are held back by poor systems. Leaders and delivery teams become disconnected. Requirements aren't understood throughout the supply chain. Different parts of a programme start working in different ways.
Praxor was built around a more joined-up approach. We bring together experienced associates across programme leadership, quality, operational delivery and specialist technical disciplines. We build the team around the programme and the work that needs to be done.
Our name is inspired by praxis—putting knowledge into practice. It reflects what we've learned through years of major infrastructure programme delivery: knowledge has the greatest value when you can put it to work.
